Membership is open to every Queen's student.
Who can join
Open to Queen's students
Any Queen's student (AMS or SGPS member) can join. Members fill out the club's registration form, online or in person, and agree to follow the club constitution and AMS and Queen's policies.
Most QTSA events are members-only. Each event is announced as either members-only or open to all Queen's students and faculty. Non-members can come to a members-only event if an executive or a member invites them.

How to join

Membership fee
The executive team decides each September whether to charge a fee and how much. Anyone who needs the fee waived can ask, in confidence, and keeps all membership benefits.

Join the executive team
- Executive positions (Directors and Co-Directors) are hired at the start of each Fall term. The hiring package comes out in the first two weeks of classes and stays open for at least 14 days. It is posted on @queensutsa.
- Any AMS or SGPS student with a genuine interest in Turkish culture can apply. You do not need to be a member or have been involved before.
- Applicants submit an application and have an interview with the President and Vice President.
- The President is elected each spring, by April 1, by the Executive Committee.

Do I need to be Turkish?
No. QTSA is open to every Queen's student.
Do I need to speak Turkish?
No. Our events run in English.
How do I get tickets?
Ticket links are added to each event when sales open, through Zeffy. Members get priority registration and member pricing.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes to open events. To members-only events, a friend can come by a member's invitation.
